Will Japan ever grow tired of being force fed the same 3DS games over and over again?

Yo-kai Watch changes up the gameplay more often than Pokémon with its sequels, at least for now.
If Pokémon is still alive after 20 years of heavy milking and extreme stagnancy... Then why couldn't a Pokémon inspired game do the same?

Because of Level 5.  Next year we'll have Youkai Watch 3, then 3.5, then Youkai Watch Team Hamster, Team Alpaca, and Team Tanuki.  Meanwhile, Pokemon will only be on Wool/Cotton.
