Finally a publisher seems to understand the Wii

You're assuming that the shovelware teams will be doing this. There are some quality teams at THQ. They may not be up to par with the quality teams of other developers, but the fact is that they are making an effort with the Wii, which is more than a lot of developers can say.

Like what? Their biggest title (that I've played) was Titan's Quest and that game was craptacular. It was a clone of D2 that failed to do anything other than be stunningly mediocre.

 I know this was a ways back there but I had to bring it back.  THQ didn't make Titan's Quest, Iron Lore did.  THQ just published it.  And Titan's Quest is considered to be the best Diablo clone since D2 came out.

Other than that, yes THQ is pretty mediocre.  Looking at their games list on their website I see a bunch of mediocre games and a bunch of liscened games, and we all know how liscened games turn out.
