Teeqoz, for a bright kid, you really don't know what you're talking about here. Low income earners pay no taxes. The people making minimum wage and just above pay zero federal taxes and it's been that way for years. Even when I was making $10/hour in 2011, I paid no federal taxes.

The only rich people are able to pay reduced taxes is by making tax deducition expenditures. This how charitable giving is incentivized.


That is a rather different scenario as many of those people barely if at all get ends to meet, but yes, in that sense, rich people aren't the only people who can attain a 0% tax rate.

 

While I don't know all too much about the US tax system, I know that in Norway the top tax rate is substantially higher than the top tax rate in the US. Although of course, tax rates in general are higher here than in the US. But I'd love for you to explain more back in chat
