Last season had very good and hilarious episodes and then some whose main selling point were the relentless criticism of celebrities/pop culture personalities and popular hot topic discussions of the moment.
I find that South Park is way funnier when the episodes focus on the characters, but even when SP doesn't the show still brings something to think about, even when the way to do they bring a topic forward is to trash it in unimaginable ways.
I am glad South Park continues. :D
