So the CEO of Inti Creates, the developer of Mighty No. 9, recently sent out a tweet in which he showed a picture of Mighty No. 9 running on the Wii U GamePad. In this tweet he wrote:

"It’s good that all console versions of Mighty No. 9 are happening! The [making of] the Wii U version was harsh due to specs, but people who were responsible for porting really did their best, so it will be finished nicely!"

Ummm I don't know about you guys but this doesn't sound too promising with regards to how the game will run on Wii U when compared to the other versions of the game. I didn't think this would be much of an issue considering the type of game this is (2D side-scroller), and yet he's saying that they had trouble with the port. I was hoping this could be like a Rayman Legends type situation, ie: it looks a little better on PS4/X1, yet still runs and looks great on the Wii U. Based on what he's saying here, it doesn't sound too good. What do you guys think? Am I overreacting?

Yes, I think you are overreacting, they had problems with the specs (usually the problem is that the engines use the CPU more and the console is not very strong there but the GPU is, so they need to make adjustments for everything to run smoothly), not sure what is the tech goal on the game (1080p x 60 fps?), and it really does not matter much, I still enjoy the original megaman games.

The Wii U version hurt is because of the lack of special edition, but I think the game has a good chance in the console, specially because there is so little competence on the release date.
