Nice in depth review, I think the dog is named Poochie in my version lol. He was fun in the levels that required him, but I found him a hassle when you used him as a temporary badge powerup in levels that don't need him. But since that is optional that is not a problem really.
It would've been great if the 3D hubworld had some secrets/exploration as well, but I'm still glad they gave us a 3D hubworld over a 2D one.
I'm glad they got rid of a life system, that has been so useless in modern day platformers.
Fuck that Boo level btw. The other ghost house was much more fun.
And good score coming from you. Have you seen (or tried) the Piranha easter egg?
