Pretty much. The more you are around other people the more likely you are to be accepting and tolerant of it, but if you're secluded from these things you're more likely to be arrogant about it. Same with racism, sexism etc.

To me everyone is the same, and it doesn't matter what you look like, where you're from, what you wear etc. because it's the personality which counts. Nothing else does if they're just a joy to talk to.
