According to who? According to R* it's all one game. In their financials they just say X amount of GTA sold this quarter, they might break down platform %, but you can only have a % break down if you count all the sales combined as a single total. If R* was in this conversation they would say, actually we're #2 with GTAV, you gonna argue with them?

It is truly impressive what Nintendo is able to achieve in software sales when their hardware sells well. Just look at Wii, doesn't come close to PS2 level of sales yet, aside from Wii Sports autobundling it had games that sold 15 million more than the highest PS2 game. But this thread is a misdirected attempt to blow Nintendo's trumpet. The thread title could more accurately be called "Nintendo: best platform for selling its own games".
