Awesome collection of data. Hadn't noticed the thread before.
Too bad the 3DS and then WiiU's underperformance stopped Nintendo's money-making streek, but good that they turned that around again. 2008-2009 is just insane. 26m Wii's and 31m DS's, that's a sight we won't see again from any gaming company ever again most likely. There's a lot of interesting things there, but it's funny to see that besides the Wii, Europe and the 'rest of the world' have been fairly consistent over the generations. Too bad data doesn't start in 1977, so we'd have numbers on the Color-TV-Game, but it's cool to see Game & Watch in there!
