Because the Playstation/XBox brands have a proven track record with the demographics many of those third party games aim for (ie: military shooters, sports sims, racing sims, violent action games). That's why they're supporting the PS/XBox is a priority for them, the audience they want is going to be there. 

Nintendo brand have a proven track record on every kind of genre, hate all you want. your silly excuses will never change reality.
