No its a 8th gen console, because of who it competes against, the same is true for nintendo.

 

NX will compete against PS4 and Xbox One, for its intire life probably.

That makes it a 8th gen console.

That only makes you an idiot since it's pure bullshit. nx will be a 9th gen portable or home console and will compete with ps5 and xbox whatever when they release.
