If I had a camera, I would go to Best Buy and take a picture of their Wii games exhibit. It's away from the middle off to the side next to the movie (almost out of the games section!) and for every Super Mario Galaxy you can see at least 4 "shovelware" (as per the article's description) titles.
If you want proof then go out and add up the sales of all the "shovelware" games on the Wii. I'm guessing the figures would be quite astonishing. ^_^
