I don't think this really matters. Developers believe that "hardcore" games don't sell on the Wii and/or that only Nintendo games really sell on the Wii. More success on Nintendo's end isn't going to motivate developers. | With growing userbase of Wii right now i think 3rd party developers will submit to work on Wii anyway, or else, suffer on what happened to Japan. Gaming was dead there just look at the weeky sales of all three consoles especially the PS3. But Nintendo is profiting anyway with Wiifit and the Wii and there flagship titles like Mario Kart Wii and SSBB.even japanese developers are developing for western audience now but what if the fate of Japan will also happened to other western countries like U.S.A. ? I think 3rd parties must accept the fact, the video game audience wether core or casual gamers like the Wii. The worldwide weekly sales prove it, if they will not submit the video game audience might aswell play handhelds, just like what happened to japan.

Everyone says that. They've been saying it for months now. "Oh yeah, developers are going to see the Wii's sales and begin putting tons of games on it." Well guess what, the Wii has been selling like wildfire for months and it's still not happening. Big name games are still going to the PS360 and the Wii is still getting all the scraps.
Continue saying it though. Shouting at the rain is a great solution.
