Our only hope was E3 and Nintendo hyped Disaster Day of Crisis and revived Project HAMMER and hoping for Kid Icarus to be announced, that way, core developers will not be afraid to work on Wii when these three games will be a million seller.

I don't think this really matters.   Developers believe that "hardcore" games don't sell on the Wii and/or that only Nintendo games really sell on the Wii.  More success on Nintendo's end isn't going to motivate developers.

Some developers probably do believe that "Hardcore" games don't sell on the Wii, but I don't think that belief is particularly widespread ... Even on the PS2, it takes a long time to develop a lot of these high quality hardcore games which are lacking on the Wii and (with the initial doubt about its potential sales) these games did not start development before the Wii was launched; for the most part this E3 and TGS would be the first time when a "Hardcore" Wii game that began development after the system launched would be ready to demo.
