Think about the logistics of manufacturing & shipping that many units, regularly, around the world. Its actually pretty mind-boggling. 400k week --> 55k / day, or 2,500 Wii units produced every hour (regularly, over an entire year). 42 units a minute, or pretty close to 1 every second. Tick, tick, tick... (in the time its taken you to read this post, another 10-20 Wii units have been "born"...) |
Not only that, but putting it in context with the competition, 400k is greater than the PS3 and 360's weekly sales combined, which have trended at about 350k per week this year according to the charts.
