8th gen, wii U will be erased from history by Nintendo themselves lol.
Handelds comes out very early compared to homeconsoles and are considered to be in the same gen so I'd say 9th gen, but I'm not even sure NX will have anything to do with traditionnal consoles so it may not even be considered one.
