The thing is that I believe that at this point, Sony could even stop making first party exclusives and they would still easily win this console generation. Look how massive multiplatform titles sell on PS4 and how much they boost hardware sales. Perhaps this is a bit too far but I really think that it won't hurt the console much having only 3rd party games.
