Next week might see record breaking Wii sales (outside the holiday period) with Golden Week in Japan, Europe still riding high on the recent release of Mario Kart and Wii Fit and the US seeing massive shipments to support MK Wiis launch. In case you want some proof about the US thing, Toys R Us had this add (and I understand many other retailers had Wiis available as well) claiming to have More Wiis than ever:
