What he's saying is that since there are more sources, albeit less reliable, showing the Wii U above the PS4, there's reason to doubt that the PS4 is (in actual hard numbers) above the Wii U in Japan for the week.  Of course, in the end it's not saying much.

I do understand that, yeah, and I agree that it's up for discussion if you (or he) wishes.

But at the end of the day, everyone is either going to have to settle on one tracker or use the VGC method of taking the average of the two (Media Create/Famitsu).  

Personally, I've been using the VGC mushing-two-together method for my Vita vs. COMG thread, but when it comes down to hardware numbers I prefer just to pick a tracker.  Mainly Media Create.  Saves so many arguments, which is sorely needed in this thread.
