Because the NX is way more hype than anything else.

The NX is the only thing Nintendo dudes have to hype up currently, which is why they are running completely wild with speculations etc.

Not necessarily. There's still a lot of really awesome stuff coming to WiiU and 3DS through early 2016 -- but that's where our knowledge ends.

PS and Xbox fans already have pretty good ideas what's new 2016, 2017 and onward.

Everyone's intrigued how on earth Nintendo can pivot step to a more successful platform.
