Contra 4 on DS

It was only called Probotector in Europe and gaming didn't really take off in Europe until the PS1, so you aren't the only one VonShigsy, its just that you are in the minority. Its kind of like my Final Fantasy tastes. I prefer the Sakaguchi produced Final Fantasy games. He created the series and I feel that the Nomura and Kitase efforts haven't been up to snuff for the most part. Most Final Fantasy "fans" started playing the series when Nomura and Kitase took over with FFVII. So I am in the minority in my view that Final Fantasy starting going downhill with FFVII. Most gamers played Contra and know little of the changes made to the game to turn it into Probotector, so while the games are different, we are in the same boat my friend

I think the Aussies also got Probotector on VC. Anyway, the changes are only in the main character sprites/endings plus some humanoid enemies, that all got replaced with robots. It's a good thing that the 3d transition didn't ever worked for Contra, it's like Castlevania in this aspect. No game in the series though surpassed Contra 3, i hope 4 does the trick.  It would be nice though if you completed  the game you could play like  the Euro robots.(hint Konami!)
