Probably worth noting that 1 week of MK8 > 4 weeks of Splatoon. It's a pretty safe bet that MK8 wk 10 > Splatoon Wk 10. Splatoon is at 348K currently which means in the next 5 weeks it needs to sell 230K meaning a weekly average of 46K. Given it dropped below 46K in week 4 you can call the win to MK8 now. Splatoon is still dropping at a smaller % rate than MK8 so it should stay ahead week vs week for longer than I expected. I've projected roughly what I think will happen with Splatoon assuming a fairly flat 15% drop week on week from here on. I don't know what happened in week 9 and 10 for MK8 that gave it a sustained boost, but because of that it seems Splatoon and MK8 will be close to parity in week 9, unless there is something that will give Splatoon a ~30% boost at the same point in time.

Even so, a mighty result for Splatoon.
