I guess that would be something for NST nowadays and not necessarily EAD. Since work on Tipping Stars has finished and nothing else has been announced, who knows? 
Also, I could see SPD 3 having outsourced Wave Race to Monster Games (if they're not working on Diddy Kong Racing or Excite). So don't give up hope! I loved Bluestorm on my Gamecube!
