Hire more employees, Nintendo >.<

I don't think the main issue are the number of employees but most likely more in line with Nintendo's budget.

To be honest, I don't really think so.
Xenoblade was developed with around as many employees as A Link Between Worlds, for example, and around a 5th of the peolpe who worked on Pokemon X and Y, that's just bad, lol.

The company as a whole is very small. Only around 5000 employees, that's crazy. With rapidly evolving HD development that needs more and more employees and money, they really need to hire a lot more people. Sony and MS' game divisions don't have it this bad because there's a lot of 3rd party support. Whether the NX will have 3rd party support or not remains to be seen, but Nintendo should always prepare for the worst and no the best, which they did with the WiiU and that backfired immensly.

That's a good point. Nintendo has always been about low develpoment budgets and huge turnouts, but the present crowd of gamers demand more power and HD+ visuals. They do infact need to expand their development staff a great deal to keep up with demand, so I hope their venture into the mobile allows more profits to warrant more employees in the development department.
