The "Mario" version I definitely see happening, Nintendo will move toward a Sony-ish type premium HH offering. It will be at least the power of Wii U and likely more. Luigi version, could happen a couple yrs down the road.

The main question for me, is the "Bowser" iteration. This really would address the userbase & power issue for 3rd parties, & now those Ninty fans have no excuse not to support those games being "inferior versions" etc.. There is a (wrongful) perception that Ninty fans don't support third party games. That may be true for NintendOnly owners, but a sizeable group of us out there that do - on the other systems.

Hopefully Nintendo figures out how to offer a premium version home console, yet the games could be scalable and work with the likely most popular version (hh). The last 2 gens, Nintendo has cheated itself and its fans by not being able to host up to par versions of major 3rd party titles. EVEN IF THEY SELL THE WORST (ie Gamecube), it should still be able to have that option as a consumer. To me its insane that a primary video game company like Nintendo, is missing so many titles it should have by default.
