Nintendo ups Wii production to 2.4 million.

This is intended to coincide with two things:

1) The launch of Wii Fit in the States.

2) The imminent release of the Wii in the East, particularly in China.  

Also, this assists preparation for Christmas. This allows Nintendo to continue current levels of shipments (about 1.4 million a month) while actually stockpiling for holiday needs.
