About John Lucas and his continual reference to MGS not being on the ps3, I'll say I think he often has good points but when he goes into prediction mode he tends to go over board. What I do think is entirely realistic for MGS is that it will follow Gundam Musou's example. It will launch exclusive in Japan, and then launch on the ps3 and 360 in America and Europe. There is no reason for them to miss out on that big of a userbase, and by Sony's own ommision it's easier to port a game from the ps3 to the 360 then visa-versa. So I expect that to happen. What MS needs to do is convince these developers to port these games over for Japan, until they do MS won't get that market. Honestly if I was a Japanese developer I'd have little motivation to create content for anything other then the DS. Mark my words here, Dragon Quest 9 Is going to rock Japan, it's going to prove the even big franchises can successfully move to the handheld, and won't be considered inferior. It'll end up having a much cheaper budget then FF XIII and making way way more money. At that point I think Square will have no choice but to put FF XIV on the DS as well. Square is already loading tons of support for the DS, and I think that will prove to spill over to the Wii as well. In fact in all the factors being discussed as potential destroyers for the ps3, I think the DS is possibly the biggest.
