/a hater ? are you 6? Yes they are obligated to try and make money, and that is precisly why they did not release games on the WiI U and why I said they did not owe Nintendo charity- I wish they had as the wii u is the only home console we have in our household (in addition to a wii) However why would 3rd parties support a console that Nintendo barely supported and clearly did not ahve faith in themselves Think Ubisoft (who supported the Wii u better tthan Nintendo IMO the 1st year +/- ) quit releasing games for the Wii u becasue they were making money? |
"Yes they are obligated to try and make money, and that is precisly why they did not release games on the WiI U"
they did not release games on wii u because they are umprofessional. the majority never released a single game.
"However why would 3rd parties support a console that Nintendo barely supported and clearly did not ahve faith in themselves"
lol at nintendo "barely supporting" the wii u and "not having faith in it".
"Think Ubisoft (who supported the Wii u better tthan Nintendo IMO the 1st year +/- ) quit releasing games for the Wii u becasue they were making money?"
Ubisoft didn't support the wii u better than nintendo in any period of time, it was half assed support. they quit releasing games because they are umprofessional, especially after the bullshit of delaying a finished rayman so that other platforms would get it at the same time and one year later, delaying watch dogs on wii u so that other platforms could get it one month earlier. that's self sabotage. ubisoft had one good exclusive in zombi U and two decent ports in AC 3 and splinter's cell, wich still sold decently.
now a question for you: the wii u was at 4 million sold when it got the last relevant multiplatform release (that was in late 2013). the installed base more than doubled since then, so don't you think it makes far more sense to support it now more than ever? Bear in mind that many of the launch ports are legging out to 300-400k lifetime without digital. similar games released in 2014 and later would have much better numbers.
