Hmm, seems we're mostly in agreement then, although I'd like to add that if the Wii does continue to follow the same pattern as the DS when it comes to third parties ("What the f*** is this?" to "Let's try to use all of the system's features, even if it's gimmicky" to "I have a neat idea that only needs some of the system's stuff, so we really don't have to use the others") then this year's crop of third parties games will be neat, but the real treasures won't arise until next year.
I'd also add that I'll be very surprised if we don't see at least two new developers make a name for themselves in the industry because of the Wii, but that's off-topic, and completely random, now that I think about it...
