No, that is the true ending, because the main character discovers that the "real culprit" is anunseen kingdom that has been behind it all and manipulating them all along. And then you take up arms against this new kingdom.

That is definitely the true path/ending, seeing as it invalidates your actions and choices in the first two games as wrong.

I cant argue this, not saying because of you! Its hard to discuss, it does makes sense however when you compare the other 2games to this one. That said i still think imo that its just alt timelines. But that def could be argued!!!

Anywayz im still excited, if its $15 dollars each (as dlc) then $70 isnt bad for 3 games... but everyone opinions differ.

It's another timeline. But these truths that are revelead in the third game are about events that occured in each game. The events were always there, but there was more to it than you knew of. And it's only revealed in the third game.
Unless you are content with getting a false story and letting the badguy get their way, then the third game is a must play to get the truth to the story.

I'll see if the games are worth the money for me once I know more.

Basically, thanks to Awakening, you can say ALL alternatives paths/endings or whatever that can be done or shown in a FE game are true.

Having played a number of games where multiple paths are the norm, the split particularly when we know they can all fit on one cart save maybe the third option is lame. They may equal Awakening in overally number of missions but I am never a fan of them seperating content developed at the same time as the rest of a release that seems like it would have worked much better had it been packaged together and then asking folk to pay for it.

Maybe if they released each version of Fates at a price of $29.99 or at regular price and the additional DLC is priced at no more then $10 but I doubt that will be the case.
