Most of the show just felt underwhelming. Many games we knew about and the few surprises present didn't capture my interest at the time.
I really liked the opening and Starfox reveal. That's what I want from Starfox.
I initially though the new Mario and Luigi game was the best new surprise.
The 3ds zelda left me cold because I didn't know what to make of it. My interest was boosted later by the tree house but I still don'tknow how much of a real zelda it is or how much I'm going to like the multiplayer.
It's a similar story with the Metroid spin off. I didn't object to it like many, but it is ugly and seems to be some sort of coop game so I'm unsure if it's for me.
We've already seen so much of Mario Maker and Yoshi's Wooly World (Which is awesome. I got it yesterday) that they spent to long on them. As I'd seen so much gameplay already I didn't object to the yarn lady... We just needed less of her. If they held back more info from the directs, and the last e3, some of the games would have seemed like bigger announcements.
I was also expecting, and looking forward to seeing, some of fatal frame.
It was OK but I felt disappointed. I was surprised by the level of hate it got though. There are lots of games coming this year. We just already knew a lot about them.
