I think Xenoblade Chronicles X will likely get a metascore in the 80s for two main reasons:
1) There are higher expectations given the Wii game's success. For reviewers (particularly in Europe), Xenoblade Chronicles came out of nowhere and was something of an unknown quantity.
2) Despite being a very different open-world game to The Witcher 3, Xenoblade Chronicles X will suffer from not being enough like Witcher 3.
A third possibility:
3) The overblown negativity from Nintendo's E3 effects reviews of their 2015 line-up, logic along the lines of "This is probably Wii U's swansong, and it's not Zelda, therefore lower score."
