- $600 price point
- Fading interest and faith in the playstation brand
- Bluray doesn't become the successor of the DVD
- Shrinking exclusive 3rd party support
- Shrinking 3rd party support
- Japan is lost to Nintendo right from the beginning
- America is lost to Microsoft and Nintendo right from the beginning
- Europe is lost to Nintendo right from the beginning
- being outsold weekly worldwide by the 360 and Wii on a constant basis
- delayed 1st/2nd party games
- Games that don't live up to the hype their trailers created
- Bad PR
- Total loss of appeal to casual gamers
Just to name a few things. Do you see them clear as day? Unless a miracle happens, Sony's console won't be on top of this gen.
