Why isn't Sony being more aggressive in America?

He said it at the start of the year I think. The price cut will be strategically used. My guess will be price cut this holiday (against MS AAA game enslaught) to pick up momentum and carry it throughinto next year with a stream of exclusives being released throughout 2016.

I guess they're in a position where a price drop would be super effective (sorry for the Pokémon pun) because the price has been constant for almost 2 years. With MS a price drop just wouldn't be as significant as it's dropped and looped so many times.
