I have to say that your threads are subpar at best. Please don't continue this way.

As for this topic specifically, this is the same Inafune who makes Mega Man yet again. He certainly has experience with the fear of doing something new. However, this is also the same Inafune who said that Japanese developers have fallen behind the West at a time when six of the top 10 bestselling games of the year worldwide were made in Japan. This man doesn't speak about Nintendo.

We've already gotten hints about what Nintendo plans for the next generation. They are going to do things that nobody has done before. And thus my post goes full circle and I have to ask you once again to not make such subpar threads.

Hey Rol,

Thank's for the feedback. I disagree though- I am learning by "doing"-meaning improving my treads by creating them;even, if they are not stellar by your standards. I have two questions  1) Had this tread being about Sony/Microsoft would you had consider it subpar or debatable? Does your criticism comes from being a Nintendo fan? 2) What do you consider a good trend? What are some of the characteristics?

Also, does Inafune needed to be precisely right at the time he gave that interview(The one were Japanese games were doing well?) Or could he be considered a visionary? Who saw what would happened to Nintendo and Square Enix down the road.

Inafune's criticism is actually funny and "6 out of 10 best selling games were Japanese", hmm, couldn't be more wrong.

COD: Black Ops, Halo Reach, Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Kinect Adventures and Sport are all Western games and probably sold more than all the Japanese games combined, released on 7th gen at that point. And I didn't even include the sport games that sold a lot as well in 2010.
