Doesn't really matter what Disney want to do, EA have an agreement to those rights and until that expires it will continue to be theirs.

And expire they will, eventually. Besides, we don't know what the contract says and I hardly think Disney's lawyers are afraid of EA's. Of course, EA may be fine as long as their Star Wars games don't underperform. But there's still Marvel... This rumor has quite a few people on edge. Hopefully, if its real, their relationship will become stronger with time. I wan't to see real competition and fanboys crying.
