That is true, which is more strange as to why the Japanese version has same sex marriage in the first place, or strongly hinting at least. Though the other 14 states would be upset and loud enough for Ninten to censor it, since they like to try to please everyone....

they shouldnt try, you cant please extremists. first its same-sex mariage, than its interracial marriage and in the end they cry because something looks socialist.

Yeah, I agree, though Nintendo has tried so on different occassions to take routes to please everyone, but still ends up upsetting a lot of people, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did so with Fates, as much as it would annoy me as well.
