You have done a mistake...Splatoon->2 days and 3 weeks,not 4 weeks!:P

Edit: Also,it surpassed 1m not sold 1m...http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1069202

That figure includes more than 476,000 physical and digital units sold in the Americas, more than 368,000 sold in Japan, more than 230,000 sold in Europe and an additional 20,000 sold in Australia and New Zealand,that's 1.1m!:P

What's your intention with this thread...?:P

Meh, minor details worthy only of a nitpicker. The milestone is 1 million, no one cares about the following 100K unless they are particularly insecure about this sort of thing.

As to your question. When celebrating the achievement of 1 million in sales it is useful to put it in context. 1 million in sales is so commonplace nowadays that with certain games 1 million is a flop unless it's a first stepping stone to 4 million or more. So I was curious to see the performance of Splatoon vs other games in the broad shooter category when they started out in life. And I thought it was interesting to see that there are just a few shooters over the last 2 generations that began with this level of achievement. This therefore makes Splatoon not just a good sales success "for [damning with faint praise] a Wii U game", it actually makes Splatoon an unconditional sales success.

Yes,my suggestion was a good-nature banter!:P
Oh thanks for the clarification,I hope that you didn't feel that my question was suspect and malicious,If not then I apologize! :P

Unconditional sale success...WOW What can I say?I agree!Where do you see it standing by the end of the year?
