Oh, Reggie. Am I the only one that reads this answer as slightly passive agressive? Sort of: 'We Know. We know. We KNOW. Now shut up about it.'
The only upside I can think of about the fact that there currently seems to be no new metroid in developement is that Retro is developing a new engine for something. That something hopefully is a new IP and not Donkey Kong NX. Not that Dokey Kong NX wouldn't also be super cool TP is a superb game, but it's not what they need right now imo.
