That's just the Prime director. All that means is that the next Metroid won't be a Prime game (which they said they were done with the series anyways).

exactly my thoughts, i mean they have to have another real metroid game next year because its metroids anneversary

A solid point for my other post on whether next year could be one of Nintendo's greatest.
