A WRPG set in space, where you can vastly explore many planets inside a system. The character has a skill tree where he can implant a specific set of skills (a la Mass Effect). I'd include a lot of attractive and relevant skills with balancing limits so players feel inclined to choose different play styles. When he's part of the Elite soldiers, his skill tree will improve with unique skills used to face the more powerful enemies.

The game won't limit itself to humans, but it will also include several alien races, friendly and hostile.

I'd include an extremely deep customization system with an insane amount of detail. The customization won't end only on character and clothing, but it will expand to weapons, space vehicles, ships, living quarters, space stations, outposts, among others. And clothing customization can go from civilian clothes, space exploration suit, stealth outfit and mech customization.

Apart from the main missions, there will be side missions too, varied and engaging; not just a "get me this McGuffin from 10,000,000 miles away and protect yourself from 10 waves of enemies". I'd make missions engaging, dynamic and unexpected.

Also, this game would have a looting system where the player will have a massive universe to explore. With the loot he finds, he'll be able to craft improved versions of weapons, armors and gadgets.

In short, this game would be inspired by Mass Effect, Dead Space, Metroid, Alien: Isolation and Fallout, with a touch of a humorous approach varying from vulgar to smart.

The main character is an arrogant but lovable douche who never seems to take things seriously. He's part of the galactic army and he dreams being part of the elite group of soldiers. He later finds out that galactic soldier life, while not being what he imagined, at least made him more relevant than when he was a bottom-feeder. As time went by and as he experienced many brutal things, his mentality changed and he was now one of the elite. An alien invasion occurs and things get more insane. His mentality takes a turn for the worse and he's then struck by a dilemma: join the aliens and take over the outgunned and outmanned human race in exchange for mental peace, or just kick some alien ass in an epic fight.

Do note this was just improvised.
