Well, if they are shooting for just PS4 level of power, they have already failed. By the time they launch the NX, the PS4 will be $199-249. My guess is there's will be $299, at the very least. So, little 3rd party support, plus a more expensive console with the same level of power...there's just no way it'll succeed. The age of gimmicky controls began AND ended with the Wii. Why can't Nintendo learn what the majority have?
Of course, there's also the fact that in a year or so after the NX launches, we'll have a PS5 launching that's going to be 4x-6x more powerful than the PS4. Once people see what that bad boy can pump out, people will be jumping into next gen.
