Yeah, cuz Microsoft don't own Titanfall. Most times games are funded by console makers it is only to secure some kind of exclusivity, doesn't give them any ownership at all though. So unless you can actually present some solid evidence...

games are actually never funded by console maker unless first party or second party

they sign exclusivity deals or marketing rights or bundle deals, nothing else

but if somebody goes in and funds a game then the console maker tries to own outright exclusive rights but depends upon the agreement.

search the web,i don't have time right now.its pretty damn popular and been discussed many times

But whenever they do go in and get rights for a game they are funding they own the whole IP, not just a single game in the franchise. See Demon's Souls as an example, Sony owned the IP not the game, so to go multiplat From Software had to start a brand new IP (Dark Souls) rather than just release a Demon's Souls 2. Nintendo's deal for Bayonetta 2 is the exception, not the rule.

no they can,it depends upon the agreement.Just bring in a lawyer and tweak the agreement.

Demon's Souls was a new small IP.

Stop comparing it to FF7,METAL GEAR
