With a second weekend of $106.6M, JW also owns the record for the best second weekend of all-time, kicking Avengers’ ($103.05M second weekend) in the butt. Next record to takeover: highest grossing film of the year. Avengers: Age of Ultron currently counts $449.4M. Universal Pictures Interntional’s Jurassic World continues to stomp through box office records overseas by reaching $500M on Saturday — the fastest than any film in the studio’s 103-year history.
