Will Sony/Activision put out a SCUF/ELITE/competitive controller?

Sony doesn't need to copy MS on BC or that controller elite. The playstation 4 is the leader in the market. There's no way to justify paying $150 for a controller when you already have a perfectly good controller to begin with.
