Still any Final Fantasy fan knows that to play those games the PlayStation is the way to go. It's (and will be) getting all FF titles, also playing better. Sure SE doesn't want to enrage its Japanese fans.

I am going to assume Sony made some sort of financial deal to lock it in. Probably just paying for marketing. But it could have been more.

Or what if Sony helped to fund it and if it weren't for them it wouldn't have been made in the first place? If SE were making it anyway and Sony paid to get it on PS4 first then they wasted their money, it won't make a difference. If however it wouldn't exist at all without Sony's help then it was a good decision to get in there. We don't know about VII Remake, we do however know that XV would be made regardless of whether Sony get a deal or not though.

I read that Kagarii at Neogaf said Sony are helping fund FF7. I haven't seen the post myself, so I'm not sure if true. (Would appreciate if someone could link me to it.) But from what I understand she's tends to be on point with SE info as she supposedly works for them or something.

I saw it by my self, that she wrote that. FF7 Remake will never come to the Xbone. It just wont happen, every year from now on, the sales gap will be bigger and bigger, Sonys financial health will get stronger, and in the end, they just wont let it happen, that this legendary game comes to the xbone, and thats good this way!
