Don't get your hopes up. Even though Star Fox went through a very long drought, Nintendo always showed some interest in bringing the franchise back. F-Zero has been away for even longer, and everytime they're asked about it the answer is quite a negative one. I don't think we should expect a new F-Zero game anytime soon. Maybe not even this decade.
You underestimate how much Platinum really is involved in this. Judging by the trailer at least - the graphics, the gameplay, hell even the music, all have a very Platinum feel to them. The game feels 1 third Nintendo, 2 thirds Platinum. @OP, I don't know why you wouldn't have hope in the first place. The game looks amazing. |
Honestly my hopes aren't up, I didn't even expect them to localize Fatal Frame 5 with Nintendo of America's track record. This isn't the Wii though, they are desperate for software which makes me think that is the only reason they brought Fatal Frame to the west.
