No, Reggie said something obvious. He said the next home console was in development. The next home console is always in development from any of the big three. If you asked a Sony game division head, I'm sure they would tell you they're already hard at work researching what the PS5 will be. If you ask a Microsoft game division head, they'd assuredly tell you research is already underway for what the next Microsoft console should look like. It's common sense, not an amazing revelation.
Want to know what has been officially revealed about the NX? It's coming. That's it. That is a summary of all of the confirmed NX information we have. We don't know if it's a console, a handheld, a development platform, or some kind of hybrid device. We don't know if it's meant to replace current hardware, supplement current hardware, or supplement the next generation of hardware. We know literally nothing about it. If you want to assert what you know as a theory, go for it. This thread is just another theory using the one or two incredibly vague clues that we've had since that conference where Nintendo uttered NX for the first time. Asserting your leaps in logic as fact though is just silly.
