Really sad, I own both and both are good consoles, especially the Vita (apart from battery life). Although I think the Vita may be produced on a small scale for a while as the hardware itself is future proof.
As for the Wii U sadly it looks like its done, but I personally will be using it for a while as i did not have a wii and I have a few wii games to catch up on. Its so frustrating that Nintendo has not released XC on eshop >:(
