I think you can say the same thing for KH3. It's already been said multiple times development is actually proceeding smoothly for KH3, and Nomura also just had this to say:

Well it's always possible they could release both KH3 and FF7 in the same year, don't see why they would though. Or maybe FF7 will be 2018 and KH3 2017, either way I just want the games and the sooner the better. 

Edit: heck if they have so much done then maybe KH3 could be 2016 xD
